AMERICAN THANKSGIVINGWhy not join our US neighbours and celebrate Thanksgiving twice this year! In honour of the many American guests here at the Wedgewood, on Thursday, November 27th, Executive Chef Lee Parsons will prepare the traditional Thanksgiving Roasted Turkey in addition to his à la carte menu, served from 5:30pm to 10:00pm. AFTERNOON HOLIDAY TEA TIMETreat yourself to the relaxing tradition of Afternoon High Tea, within the warm and enveloping woods, and silk tapestries, of Bacchus Lounge. Enjoy infused loose-leaf teas, decadent pastries, delicate finger sandwiches, and homemade scones for only $39.00 per person, excluding taxes and gratuity. CHRISTMAS EVE IN BACCHUSBacchus Restaurant & Lounge enters its element during the Festive Season and offers the perfect wintry escape on Christmas Eve. Choose from Executive Chef Lee Parson’s modern French à la carte Festive Menu, and Bacchus’ exclusive selection of fine wines, in the romantic candlelit atmosphere, enhanced by live piano music from 5:00 to 12:00am midnight. THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS DAYLet the doors of the Wedgewood transport you to a place of warmth, holiday joy, and the finest of European tradition. The dinner will include Apple Wood House Smoked Salmon, Maple Roasted Butternut Squash Soup, your choice of entrée: Traditional Roast Grain Fed Turkey, Herb Crusted Filet of Queen Charlotte Halibut, or Grilled Tenderloin of Alberta “AAA” Beef and for dessert, enjoy your choice of Traditional Plum Pudding with Eggnog and Rum Ice Cream or a Tasting of Chocolate Themed Desserts.
