Start your journey in Salt Spring Island, the largest of the Southern Gulf Islands, located off the south-eastern coast of Vancouver Island wher you will find the lovely Hastings House Country House Hotel. Enjoy breathtaking harbour views, acres of vibrant lawns, gardens, and
forests, abundant wildlife and a lively arts community. Salt Spring
Island will lure you from the estate with a range of shops and
galleries, and many choices for outdoor and water activities, such as
biking, hiking, fishing, sailing, diving, kayaking, tennis, golf, farm,
garden and winery tours.
Cross the Straight of Georgia to Vancouver Island and travel through the renouned Cathedral Grove Provincial Park to the remote, rugged west coast at
eclectic Tofino, where the Wickaninnish Inn’s hand-carved cedar structures
stands elegantly above the dramatic surf of the Pacific Ocean. Drive along
Vancouver Island’s mountain range and follow the freeway North to Campbell River where you will catch the ferry to the Sonora Resort, the absolute jewel amidst one of Canada's most alluring, pristine environments.
