Driving from YVR Vancouver International Airport
The Wedgewood Hotel is approximately a 30-minute drive from the Vancouver airport.
- From the airport, follow Grant McConachie Way
- Take the first exit that shows downtown Vancouver
- Cross over the Arthur Laing Bridge and onto Granville Street
- Continue on Granville Street for 9km (approx. 60 blocks)
- Continue over the Granville Bridge into downtown Vancouver
- Take the Seymour Street exit on the right
- Continue on Seymour Street for 5 blocks until Smithe Street
- Turn left on Smithe Street and drive 3 short blocks to Hornby Street
- Turn right on Hornby Street; the hotel is on the left (845 Hornby Street)
Public Transit from YVR Vancouver International Airport
The Canada Line Skytrain provides daily rapid rail service between YVR Vancouver International Airport and downtown Vancouver between approx. 5:15am and 12:45am. Trains leave the airport every few minutes and take approximately 30 minutes to reach downtown.
Vancouver City Centre is the nearest Canada Line Station to Wedgewood Hotel & Spa. YVR Airport Station is located on Level 4, between the international and domestic terminals. One-way tickets cost under $10 per adult depending on the time and day of the week
- Take the Canada Line north towards Waterfront
- Exit at Vancouver City Centre Station and proceed to street level
- Exit the station and turn left; walk 2 blocks to Hornby Street
- Turn left on Hornby Street and walk 2 blocks

Vancouver is located approx. 2.5 hours north of Seattle, Washington, on Interstate 5.
- Travel north on I-5 from Seattle across the border
- The I-5 will turn into Highway 99
- Follow Highway 99 North until it becomes Oak Street
- Continue on Oak Street to West Broadway (approx. 70 blocks)
- Turn left on West Broadway and drive 5 blocks to Granville Street
- Turn right on Granville Street and continue across the Granville Bridge into downtown

The drive from Whistler to downtown Vancouver is approximately 1.5 hours.
- Head south on the Sea to Sky Highway 99 into Vancouver
- Take Exit 13 (Taylor Way South Exit)
- Turn a slight right onto Taylor Way and continue on Taylor Way for 1km
- Turn left on Marine Drive for Highway 99 South
- Take the ramp on the right to cross the Lions Gate Bridge into downtown
- Continue on Highway 99 through Stanley Park, and then 9 blocks to Thurlow Street
- Turn right on Thurlow Street
- Continue on Thurlow Street for 5 blocks until Nelson Street
- Turn left on Nelson Street and drive 2 blocks to Hornby Street
- Turn left on Hornby Street; the hotel is 1.5 blocks away on the left (845 Hornby Street)
Driving from the BC Interior (Highway 1)
- Drive west on Highway 1 (Trans-Canada Highway) into Vancouver
- Take Exit 27 for 1st Avenue
- Keep left to continue on East 1st Avenue
- East 1st Avenue turns into Terminal Avenue; continue for 8km until Quebec Street
- Turn right on Quebec Street and continue for 3 blocks
- At the fork, take a slight left onto Expo Boulevard and continue past the stadiums
- Turn right on Smithe Street
