February and March marked “world whistle-stop tours” for the Wedgwood Hotel Executives.
Mid February saw Philip Meyer, General Manager in London, England. Joanna Tsaparas-Piche, Director of Sales, Marketing and Public Relations was in New York City and Toronto at the end of February and at the beginning of March, Elpie Marinakis, Co-Owner and Managing Director was in Los Angeles and Mexico City.
Their mission was the Relais & Châteaux Sales Showcase for 2014 – showcasing just the Canadian West Coast, La Route du Bonheur – or the road to happiness – lives on, miles from its French roots of vacationing between manors, villas, and châteaux, but always in the travelling spirit of Relais & Châteaux.
You too can experience the rich character, charm, and culinary excellence of our partners as you navigate between each distinctive property starting in Vancouver at the Wedgewood Hotel and Spa, take a floatplane or ferry to Vancouver Island and visit the Wickaninnish Inn, Tofino, fly by helicopter to Sonora Resort on Senora Island and finally Hastings House Country House Hotel on Salt Spring Island.
Below is a picture that Elpie sent us from the Los Angeles showcase.
